Range Out Back

July 22nd, 2008 | By Jay McGrath

The range is a great tool to improve your game, but as many professionals will acknowledge, by solely practicing at the range their is no way your game will reach the level it needs to be at.

“Working on the range, I like that. That’s not something that’s difficult for me to do. I quite enjoy that end of the practice.” -Padraig Harrington

By expanding your practice techniques by not only going to the driving range, but also using outdoor golf training aids such as backyard golf driving range mats with limited flight balls, your game will greatly improve.

Increasing Your Driving

July 9th, 2008 | By Jay McGrath

Most golfers will agree that they take pride in their driving distances because it is a display of their true power in a game that truly requires finesse and great skill.

“Long driving is of prime importance in golf. It need not be long enough to give the golfer some chance against par, and to put him on good terms with himself.” -Ted Ray

Driving is important in an average round, and the only way to improve on it is to practice it. What many golfers do not understand is that going to a driving range is not the easiest way to practice your driving. With outdoor golf driving mats and limited flight balls your driving can greatly improve right in your backyard.
